Built around how Bangladesh actually trades

A Dhaka counter takes money in more ways than most: cash, bKash, Nagad, a card, and a regular customer who will settle at the end of the month. If the till cannot tell those apart, the day never reconciles and somebody spends every evening working out where the difference came from.

Codipy POS records how each bill was paid, splits one bill across two methods when a customer is short, and closes the day with the wallet totals kept apart from the cash. Everything runs on the shop's own PC, so a connection that comes and goes does not stop a sale.

How shops in Bangladesh get paid

Codipy POS records cash, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards and bank transfer — each one against the bill that used it. Split a single bill across two methods when a customer is short, and close the day with each method totalled separately so the drawer, the terminal and your statement all agree.

Tax the way Bangladesh does it

Codipy asks one question — your country — and fills in the rest. Pick Bangladesh and this is what the setup wizard applies:

Currency
BDT — Bangladeshi taka
VAT
15%, included in the marked price
On the invoice
BIN

A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.

Reaching customers by WhatsApp and IMO

Invoices, payment reminders and offers go out on the channel your customers already answer. The credit-due list sends a reminder with the balance in one tap, so nobody retypes a number or copies a phone number by hand.

Whatever kind of shop you run in Bangladesh

One installer configures itself for your trade — pharmacy, grocery, mobile and electronics, garments, hardware, restaurant, salon, bakery, workshop, distribution or general retail. Each one switches on the modules that trade like you do and leaves out the ones that would only get in the way.

POS software in Bangladesh — questions

Does it work in Bangladeshi taka?

Yes. Choose Bangladesh during setup and every price, invoice and report is in BDT, with 15% VAT treated as included in the marked price and a "BIN" box on the invoice.

Can I record bKash and Nagad payments?

Yes. Add them as payment methods and each bill records which one was used, so the day close shows wallet money separately from cash and your statement reconciles.

Can a customer pay half now and half later?

Yes — split a bill between cash, a wallet and credit in one payment screen. The remainder goes onto that customer's balance.

Does it need the internet?

Not to sell. The database and the billing screen are on your own PC. Internet is only used for messaging, online backups and the phone app.

Is there a Bangla interface?

The software ships in English, Roman Urdu and Arabic today. Most Bangladeshi shops run it in English; tell us if a Bangla interface would decide it for you.
