Built around how Oman actually trades

Oman charges 5% VAT inside the price and uses a three-decimal rial — the same pair of details that decides whether a till is genuinely set up for the Gulf or merely translated for it. Codipy POS gets both right when you choose Oman, with your VATIN on the invoice.

The rest is a complete retail system running on the shop's own hardware: stock across shop and store, purchases and what you still owe, trade credit with proper ageing, real accounting, staff and reports — in Arabic or English.

How shops in Oman get paid

Codipy POS records cash, cards, mobile wallets and bank transfer — each one against the bill that used it. Split a single bill across two methods when a customer is short, and close the day with each method totalled separately so the drawer, the terminal and your statement all agree.

Tax the way Oman does it

Codipy asks one question — your country — and fills in the rest. Pick Oman and this is what the setup wizard applies:

Currency
OMR — Omani rial
VAT
5%, included in the marked price
On the invoice
VATIN

A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.

Reaching customers by WhatsApp

Invoices, payment reminders and offers go out on the channel your customers already answer. The credit-due list sends a reminder with the balance in one tap, so nobody retypes a number or copies a phone number by hand.
