Built around how Saudi Arabia actually trades

Saudi Arabia is the market where the tax setup genuinely decides the software. VAT is 15% and inside the price, invoices are reported to ZATCA, and the invoice itself has to carry the right fields. Pick Saudi Arabia in Codipy POS and all of that arrives together — riyals, 15% inclusive, a "VAT Reg. No" box, and the ZATCA regime selected rather than left for you to configure.

The rest is an ordinary, complete retail system: stock, purchases, credit, accounting, staff and reports, in Arabic or English, running on the shop's own hardware. One licence per shop, not a monthly bill for every person who touches it.

How shops in Saudi Arabia get paid

Codipy POS records cash, mada, cards, Apple Pay and bank transfer — each one against the bill that used it. Split a single bill across two methods when a customer is short, and close the day with each method totalled separately so the drawer, the terminal and your statement all agree.

Tax the way Saudi Arabia does it

Codipy asks one question — your country — and fills in the rest. Pick Saudi Arabia and this is what the setup wizard applies:

Currency
SAR — Saudi riyal
VAT
15%, included in the marked price
On the invoice
VAT Reg. No
Reporting
ZATCA e-invoicing

A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.

Reaching customers by WhatsApp

Invoices, payment reminders and offers go out on the channel your customers already answer. The credit-due list sends a reminder with the balance in one tap, so nobody retypes a number or copies a phone number by hand.

One installer configures itself for your trade — pharmacy, grocery, mobile and electronics, garments, hardware, restaurant, salon, bakery, workshop, distribution or general retail. Each one switches on the modules that trade like you do and leaves out the ones that would only get in the way.

POS software in Saudi Arabia — questions

Does it support ZATCA e-invoicing?

Choosing Saudi Arabia selects the ZATCA tax regime, with 15% VAT inside the price and your VAT registration number on the invoice. Talk to us about your specific phase and integration before you go live — that is a conversation worth having properly rather than a checkbox.

Is there an Arabic interface?

Yes, complete rather than partial. Language is a separate choice from country, so staff can work in Arabic or English.

Does it work without internet?

Selling does. The database and the billing screen are on your own PC. Internet is used for reporting invoices, messaging and online backups.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes. Each branch runs its own server with unlimited counters, and stock transfers between locations are recorded.

How is it licensed?

A one-time licence per shop, installed on your own hardware, with your data on your own disk.
