POS & ERP software for India
Billing, stock, credit and accounts in INR, with 18% GST inside the price — and a counter that keeps working when the internet does not. Used by shops in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Built around how India actually trades
An Indian counter has one thing most software gets wrong: the price on the packet already includes the tax. MRP is not a discount off a base price, it is the price, and a till that adds GST on top of it produces a bill the customer will argue with — correctly. Codipy POS works the Indian way, with tax inside the marked price and per-item GST slabs where a shop needs them.
The rest is the ordinary business of a kirana or a retail store: fast billing, stock that survives buying in bulk and selling loose, khata for the regulars, and a day book that agrees with the drawer. It runs on your own machine, so a shop in a market with poor connectivity is not paying for a cloud it cannot reach.
How shops in India get paid
Codipy POS records cash, UPI, cards, wallets and bank transfer — each one against the bill that used it. Split a single bill across two methods when a customer is short, and close the day with each method totalled separately so the drawer, the terminal and your statement all agree.
Tax the way India does it
Codipy asks one question — your country — and fills in the rest. Pick India and this is what the setup wizard applies:
- Currency
- INR — Indian rupee
- GST
- 18%, included in the marked price
- On the invoice
- GSTIN
A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.
Reaching customers by WhatsApp
Invoices, payment reminders and offers go out on the channel your customers already answer. The credit-due list sends a reminder with the balance in one tap, so nobody retypes a number or copies a phone number by hand.

When shops in India get busy
Every market has its own rush. Codipy learns yours from your own sales, so you can stock and staff for it instead of guessing.

Wedding season

Whatever kind of shop you run in India
One installer configures itself for your trade — pharmacy, grocery, mobile and electronics, garments, hardware, restaurant, salon, bakery, workshop, distribution or general retail. Each one switches on the modules that trade like you do and leaves out the ones that would only get in the way.
POS software in India — questions
Does it handle GST properly?
Yes. Choose India during setup and prices are treated as GST-inclusive, which is how Indian retail actually prices. The standard rate starts at 18% and the other slabs (28, 12, 5 and 0) are available per product, so a mixed catalogue bills correctly.
Will my GSTIN print on the invoice?
Yes. It is entered once during setup and appears on every invoice, with the tax split by rate on the receipt — which is what an inspector asks for.
Can it bill by MRP?
That is the default for India. The customer pays exactly the marked price and the tax is worked backwards out of it, rather than added on top.
Does it need internet?
No. Everything runs on your own PC and network. Internet is only used for WhatsApp, online backups and the phone app — never to take a payment.
Can I track khata for regular customers?
Yes. Each customer carries a balance, the recovery screen lists them oldest first with today's call list on top, and payments clear the oldest bill first.
