The Codipy POS billing screen: a pharmacy sale with pack price, unit price, live margin and the Pay (F4) button
The screen you’ll spend the day on. Scan, adjust the quantity, F4 to take payment — and the margin on the bill is visible while you do it.
Codipy POS dashboard showing sales, low stock, top products and recent sales
And the screen the owner opens first: what sold, what is running out, and who owes you.

One installer. It becomes your kind of shop.

Pick your business type during setup and Codipy POS switches on the modules that trade like you do — and leaves out the ones that would only get in the way.

The business type picker in Codipy POS setup, showing which features each trade switches on
One setting decides the whole system. Batches and expiry for a pharmacy; sizes and colours for a garment shop — the struck-through chips are simply switched off.

Everything the business needs, in one place

From the counter to the accounts — no bolt-on tools, no scattered spreadsheets, no second login.

Keyboard-first billing

Scan or type, press F4 to take payment, and the drawer opens. Split a bill between cash and credit, hold a sale with F6 when someone needs changing, return by invoice number or without the bill at all. Thermal 80 mm receipts, quotations and dozens of hotkeys — a trained cashier can bill without touching the mouse.

Stock that stays honest

One ledger behind every count. FEFO batch allocation with expiry and low-stock alerts, purchases and GRN, purchase orders with reorder suggestions, piece-and-carton barcodes on the same product, barcode label printing, multi-godown transfers, and stock counts that a supervisor approves before they move anything.

Accounting that posts itself

Real double-entry underneath. Every sale, purchase, payment and expense writes its own balanced journal, so the trial balance, profit & loss, balance sheet, party ledgers and cheque register are always current — without anybody keying the same figure a second time into a separate accounts package.

Credit, recovery & the daily cash

Customer credit is part of the sale, not a note in a diary. Balances build per party, today's call list puts the oldest debts in front of the person chasing them, instalments are tracked to the rupee, and the cashier hands the day's cash to the owner as a recorded transfer. Close the day and the book tallies against the drawer.

Staff, roles & accountability

Employees, attendance, advances and one-click payroll, plus salesman commissions worked out from the sales themselves. Every transaction is signed with a staff serial and PIN, granular permissions decide who may even see a cost price, and a full audit trail answers "who changed this" months later.

WhatsApp, built in

Send the invoice as the customer walks away, chase a payment from the credit-due list with one tap, wish someone happy birthday, or run a bulk campaign to everyone who bought a particular brand. Promotions and loyalty points apply themselves at the counter — the cashier doesn't have to remember the offer.

Reports you can actually find

Over fifty reports filed in the drawers you already use — Daily, Stock, Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Item, Listing and Reprinting. Profit, dead stock, expiry, cash book, salesman and hourly among them. Every one prints and exports to CSV from the same description, so what you print is what you download.

Distribution & delivery

For businesses that go to the customer: order booking with booker routes and beat coverage, supply runs loaded against those orders, home delivery with riders and the cash they're carrying reconciled at the end of the round. Orders taken in a bazaar queue on the phone and post themselves when the signal returns.

Tax, FBR & e-commerce

Choose your country and the currency, tax rate and tax-number label arrive together — 18% GST and NTN/STRN for Pakistan, 15% VAT and ZATCA for Saudi Arabia. FBR digital invoicing with QR receipts is built in, and WooCommerce or Shopify orders sync in and become ordinary sales against the same stock.

Why we built it offline-first

Most shops end up choosing between two bad options: cheap billing software that can't keep up as they grow, or a heavy cloud ERP that needs constant internet, a monthly bill per user, and weeks of training before anyone can sell anything. Neither survives a Tuesday afternoon when the DSL drops and there are six people at the counter.

So Codipy POS puts the whole system on your own hardware. The database, the billing screen, the reports and the backups all live on the shop's PC. Internet is an optional extra used for WhatsApp, FBR, online backups and the phone app — never a condition of making a sale. Your data is a file on your disk, which means nobody can lock you out of your own ledger for missing a renewal.

And built to grow with the shop

It's the same software from one till to a chain. Add a second counter and it joins the network in a minute. Open a godown and stock moves between them with a transfer note. Put a booker on the road and his orders come back into the same stock. Nothing is re-bought, re-learned, or re-typed — the modules you don't need simply stay switched off until the day you need them.

From download to first sale

Install on the main PC

Run the setup file and choose Server. That machine holds the database and keeps the backups.

Answer two questions

Your business type and your country. Modules, currency, tax rate and the tax-number label are set for you.

Bring in your products

CSV import, the migration wizard from your old software, or an Opening Purchase for stock already on the shelf.

Add the other counters

Same installer, choose Client. Each one finds the server on the network by itself — no IP addresses to type.

Start billing

Scan, F4, done. The receipt prints, the drawer opens, and the stock and accounts have already moved.

Engineered for the real world

  • One installer, Server + Client modes, automatic LAN discovery
  • Fast local SQLite database (WAL) with scheduled backups
  • Realtime sync across every counter over web sockets
  • Runs as a Windows desktop app or in any browser on the network
  • English, Roman Urdu and Arabic — each one complete
  • Thermal printers, cash drawers, barcode scanners and scales

Safe, accountable & yours

  • Per-transaction staff stamping and a full audit trail
  • Granular roles — decide who may see a cost price
  • Sensitive credentials encrypted at rest
  • Scheduled backups you can copy off the machine
  • Your data stays on your hardware — no forced cloud
  • A user manual inside the app, searchable from any screen

Your shop, on your phone

The owner's dashboard, the buy list, alerts and approvals open in any phone browser on the shop's network — nothing to install. Away from the shop, the Android app connects with a short shop code: today's sale, what's owed, what's running out, and the approvals waiting on you. Order bookers and delivery riders use the same app in the field, and it keeps working through a dead signal by queueing what they enter until it can send it.

Questions shopkeepers actually ask

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Everything runs on your own PC and local network — the database, the billing screen, the reports. A dropped connection never stops a sale. Internet is only used for the optional extras: WhatsApp messages, FBR invoicing, online backups and the phone app.

How many computers can use it at once?

Install the same setup file on every PC. On the main computer choose Server; on each counter choose Client and it finds the server on the network automatically — no IP addresses to type. There's no per-counter limit built into the software.

Is it only for pharmacies?

No. You pick your business type during setup and the software configures itself — batch and expiry for a pharmacy, IMEI and warranty for a mobile shop, size and colour variants for a clothing store, menu items for a restaurant, weight-based selling for a grocery. One codebase, different faces.

Can I move my old data across?

Yes. A migration wizard imports products, customers, suppliers and opening balances, and there's CSV import for product lists. Stock you already had on the shelf goes in as an Opening Purchase, which adds the stock without inventing a supplier debt.

What happens to my data if the computer fails?

Backups run on a schedule you set and can be copied off the machine automatically. The data file is yours, on your own disk — there's no cloud account that can lock you out and no subscription holding your records hostage.

Does it handle sales tax and FBR invoicing?

Yes. Choose your country during setup and the currency, tax rate and tax-number label are filled in together. FBR digital invoicing with QR receipts is built in for Pakistani sales-tax registered businesses, and the rate is yours to edit the day the government changes it — you don't need a new version.

Can I run the shop from my phone?

Yes. The owner's dashboard, approvals and alerts open in any phone browser on the shop network, and an Android app connects from anywhere using a short shop code. Bookers and riders use the same app in the field, and it queues what they enter when the signal drops.

What do I need to run it?

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) · 4 GB RAM · 1 GB free disk for the server PC, and any Windows PC on the same network for each extra counter. A thermal 80 mm printer and a barcode scanner are the usual additions — both are plug-and-play.

How do I try it?

Download the installer, put it on one PC and choose Server mode. The wizard asks for your business type and country, and you can be billing within a few minutes. When you're ready to run the shop on it, talk to us about a licence.

POS software by country

One question during setup — your country — and the currency, tax rate and tax-number label are filled in for you. These pages show exactly what each one gets.
