Built around how Pakistan actually trades

Most shops in Pakistan still run the counter on a register and the credit book in somebody's head — and both work until the day they do not. Codipy POS was built here, for that counter: keyboard-first billing fast enough for a seven o'clock queue, stock that stays honest across a sack and a hundred-gram bag, and udhaar that is part of the sale rather than a note in a diary.

It runs on your own PC and your own network, which matters more in Pakistan than almost anywhere. Load-shedding and a dropped DSL line are ordinary Tuesdays, and a till that needs the internet to sell is a till that stops on both of them. Codipy needs the internet only for WhatsApp, FBR and backups — never to take money.

How shops in Pakistan get paid

Codipy POS records cash, Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer and card — each one against the bill that used it. Split a single bill across two methods when a customer is short, and close the day with each method totalled separately so the drawer, the terminal and your statement all agree.

Tax the way Pakistan does it

Codipy asks one question — your country — and fills in the rest. Pick Pakistan and this is what the setup wizard applies:

Currency
PKR — Pakistani rupee
GST
18%, added at the till
On the invoice
NTN / STRN
Reporting
FBR digital invoicing with QR receipts

A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.

Reaching customers by WhatsApp

Invoices, payment reminders and offers go out on the channel your customers already answer. The credit-due list sends a reminder with the balance in one tap, so nobody retypes a number or copies a phone number by hand.

When shops in Pakistan get busy

Every market has its own rush. Codipy learns yours from your own sales, so you can stock and staff for it instead of guessing.

Ramadan & Eid ul-Fitr

moves each year

Grocery and clothing peak for a month, then chaand raat is the single busiest night of the year.

Wedding season

November to February

Garments, jewellers and caterers book months ahead — quotations and advances matter more than billing speed.

Eid ul-Adha

moves each year

A shorter second rush, heaviest on butchers, grocers and hardware.

Whatever kind of shop you run in Pakistan

One installer configures itself for your trade — pharmacy, grocery, mobile and electronics, garments, hardware, restaurant, salon, bakery, workshop, distribution or general retail. Each one switches on the modules that trade like you do and leaves out the ones that would only get in the way.

POS software in Pakistan — questions

Is Codipy POS made for Pakistan?

Yes — it is built in Pakistan, for Pakistani shops. Pick Pakistan during setup and you get rupees, 18% GST added at the till, an "NTN / STRN" box on the invoice, and FBR digital invoicing ready to switch on. Roman Urdu is a complete interface language, not a partial translation.

Does it do FBR invoicing?

Yes. FBR digital invoicing with QR receipts is built in for sales-tax registered businesses, and your credentials are encrypted on your own machine rather than held by us.

Will it work during load-shedding or when the internet drops?

The software does not use the internet to sell — the database and the billing screen are on your own PC. A dropped connection is not felt at the counter. When the power goes, completed sales are already written; the day continues from where it stopped.

Can I keep track of udhaar properly?

Yes, and this is one of the parts we spent most time on. Balances build per customer, today's call list puts the oldest and the broken promises first, ageing splits every balance by 30/60/90 days, and a payment always clears the oldest bill first — the way both sides of a counter have always thought about it.

How much does it cost in Pakistan?

It is a one-time licence per shop rather than a monthly bill per user, and the software is free to download and try on your own counter first. Message us for the current price for your size of shop.
